More than just a Christmas Tree

Mock up of proposed 8m Christmas Tree at the Village Green in Marton. Please note this is not to scale. The tree will be 8m high.

Lock Friday 17th of November in your calendars! Everyone is invited to watch us switch on the lights of the new Marton Christmas Tree in the Village Green.

Join us at 8pm for a couple of speeches and a blessing from Te Rūnanga o Ngā Wairiki Ngāti Apa. At 8.30pm the lights will be officially switched on.

The large outdoor, pre-lit, 8-metre commercial Christmas tree will be erected on the village green in Marton’s town centre during November and December each year.

This wonderful community asset would not have been possible without the amazing support of our Marton community.
